JD - Informatica Sr. developer / Support Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Essential Functions:
-Total IT experience of 3-5 years
-Total ETL and Informatica Power center experience of over 3 years
-Have completed at least two projects as Informatica developer
Informatica Experience:
-Must have worked in latest versions of Informatica 8.x / 9.x
-Must have very good understanding of the Informatica transformations, mappings, workflows, sessions
-Must have worked on performance improvement of the informatica mapping and workflows and can understand the steps needed to improve the performance
-Must work with Informatica scheduler as well as any external scheduler and understands the mechanism
-Strong in understating the data with respect to SCD type2,SCD type1 ,data quality issues.
-Must be able to understand the requirement and able to convert the requirement into ETL low level design
-Good to have hands on with Informatica latest tools like IDQ, Explorer, Power Exchange, MDM etc
Unix/DB Experience:
-Must have worked well with Unix system and have written unix scripts
-Must have worked with any major databases like oracle/Netezza/SQL Server and understand the different objects and complex queries
Data warehouse Concepts:
-Must have good understanding on ETL-Data-warehouse concepts and fair BI concepts
Analysis Skill:
-Strong in analytical [Data Analysis] skills.
-Strong in Project documentation.
Communication Skill:
-Should be strong in communication skills - both Verbal and Written
-Ability to work independently with less support after Initial Training
Support Process:
-Should have worked on support project and know ITIL/ITMS
-Should be flexible to work in shifts. - Support project (week days and weekends)
