SAP BO/BI :
Position Summary:
-The
Business Objects Developer will work as a BO/SAP Developer to implement
new Business Intelligence reporting solutions and support the existing
Strategy Analytics team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Responsible
for taking the client information requirements and converting them into
functional specifications, delivering proper conceptual/dashboard
designs, development, implement and support the organizations SAP,
Business Intelligence solutions.
-Develop complex extraction models and dashboard reporting.
-Responsible for designing and developing complex Business Objects Universes and Web Intelligence documents.
-Endure
that all solutions fit into the global reporting architecture.
Validating the solution meets the client service level agreements.
-Testing enhancements through scheduled testing protocol or an ad-hoc basis for break-fix items.
-Participating in the deployment of the SAP enhancements to the internal/external user base, including training where necessary.
-Work in a 24/7 support structure to maintain and support the Business Objects solution
-Contribute to project planning and status reporting.
-Ensure timely issue resolution and appropriate escalation

Qualifications and Experience
To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
-Minimum
of 3+ years of experience in the design and implementation of SAP
Business Objects BI product suite (Web Intelligence, UDT/IT)
-Experience with Business Objects Enterprise / SAP Business Intelligence Platform 4.0
-Hands on development experience in Universe Design using Universe Designer / Universe Design Tool /IDT
-Hands on experience with Web Intelligence. Lumira experience will be a plus
-Demonstrated
competency in accurately identifying the scope of work and preparing
thorough, accurate and detailed schedule estimates
-Knowledge of business intelligence best practice processes, tools, standards and practices
-Proven analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills
-Strong attention to detail, initiative, problem solving, and time management
-Good communication skills
Other Skills and Abilities:
-Experience in using SQL Server tools a plus
-Experience in Bex and BW is a plus
-Experience in definition of BI technical architectures
-Hands-on experience with relational and star schema data modeling is a plus
-Be self-directed and motivated
-Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
